TESTING BRINGS ABOUT BLESSINGS
MAY 27, 2016 ~ AR3232
Life within The Kingdom of God…what do we have to do?
Throughout school, we were required to take tests in variety of subjects. Like most of us (then and now), dreaded test day. Even more so when we haven’t prepared for it.
Each test was created only to last for a designated amount of time and to cover specific material within the subjects.
Believe it or not, testing wasn’t designed to see us fail but to prevail.
It was designed to indicate our strengths and weaknesses.
It was designed to determine if we retain adequate knowledge for that topic.
The rewards of passing the tests brings us a step closer to achieving the grade needed to be promoted to the next grade.

You see, when God gives us test those same principles apply. He wants to find out if we truly love Him like we say. Are we the Christians that we say we are? Are we Followers of Jesus?

Let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the reasons why God test us:

God Tests Our Character & Integrity- Do We Lovingly Obey Him? Is He First Place?Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
To Reveal What is Presently in our Hearts, whether Good or Bad
2 Chronicles 32:31 Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.

To Find Out If You Will Do Things For God’s Glory, or For The Praise of Man
John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

God is full aware of our circumstances and situation. There are moments when you sometimes feel that he must have forgotten about you. I am here to tell you that he has not. The Bible says, “He makes all things beautiful in His time“Ecclesiastes 4:11 And He does.

Will we trust Him even when things don’t go our way? Will we trust Him through our stormy days?

Will we remember that our blessings are tied to our testing?

Something about the name 'JESUS'...What is in it?
Life within The Kingdom of God…what do we have to do?

Today, many Americans are focusing on ways to make healthier eating choices. Generally, many of us begin with “monitoring” what we are consuming on a daily basis. Therefore, we research and educate ourselves on what we should be eating MORE of as well as what we should be eating LESS of. With that being said, we start paying closer attention to the ingredients and nutritional facts that comes with reading the labels.

Well, all of mankind has been taught that we need Jesus Christ daily. It is a worthwhile question to ask “What is in HIS name?”

Let’s take a closer look at a few of the nutrients and spiritual ingredients that you will find in a can of Jesus.

Can of JESUS – 100oz

Ingredients Nutrition (daily servings)

LOVE 100g

LIFE 100g

TRUST 100g

HOPE 100g

PEACE 100g

STRENGTH 100g

In the scripture John 14:6, Jesus tells us “….I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me”.

By increasing our daily consumption of Jesus Christ, it reduces and also eliminates those cravings for unhealthy choices that contains NO nutritional and spiritual benefits. So, let’s continue to make healthier spiritual choices.
